Welcome to the Audubon Area Zoning Association
Founded in the late 1940s, the Audubon Area Zoning Association (AAZA) functions as a traditional neighborhood association. It promotes the safe, family friendly ambiance that is the hallmark of the neighborhood. It serves as the liaison to represent the interests of its members to city government and other community organizations.
The AAZA monitors land use, traffic, parking, drainage, and other factors that may impact quality of life. It sponsors several events each year to encourage a friendly association among area residents and creates a neighborhood directory of contact information. All expenses are funded by annual membership dues of $25 per household.
AAZA works closely with the Audubon Area Security District, a separate entity founded in 2002 after ratification by area voters. AASD handles the administrative functions of our neighborhood security patrol service. The patrol is funded by a yearly parcel fee on each property in the district collected annually with your City Property Taxes.
